Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Bonfire Institute of Design for your design education. We are committed to providing you with a rewarding and professional learning experience. Please read this Refund and Cancellation Policy carefully before enrolling.

General policy

We understand the commitment you make when enrolling in our programs. As our courses involve dedicated faculty, infrastructure, and resources allocated from the date of enrollment, refunds are subject to the conditions described below.

Cancellation by student — refund schedule

If a student chooses to withdraw from the program, no refund will be provided under any circumstances. This applies regardless of the date of the written cancellation request, including requests made before or after the course commencement date.

All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No-refund conditions

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

• Student is expelled due to misconduct, academic dishonesty, or violation of Institute policies
• Student abandons the course without formal written notice to the Institute
• Cancellation request is made after the course has commenced (except as noted above)
• Enrollment was made under a fee waiver, scholarship, or special discount arrangement
• Dissatisfaction is due to personal circumstances unrelated to course quality or delivery

Cancellation policy

Once enrollment is confirmed and course access is granted, cancellations are generally not accepted. As resources are allocated and seat availability is managed from the date of enrollment, we encourage you to consider your decision carefully before proceeding with payment. Please speak to our admissions team if you have any doubts before enrolling.

Cancellation by the Institute

In the rare event that the Institute cancels a program prior to commencement due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, students will be notified as early as possible. A full refund of all fees paid will be processed within 15 working days. Alternatively, students may opt to transfer to another available program or batch.

Batch or schedule transfer

Requests to transfer to a different batch or time slot must be submitted in writing at least 7 days prior to the intended change. Transfers are subject to seat availability. The first transfer is complimentary; subsequent transfers may incur an administrative fee.

How to submit a refund or cancellation request

All requests must be submitted in writing — either via email or in person at the campus office. Verbal requests will not be accepted. Please include your full name, enrollment number, course name, campus location, and reason for the request.

Refund processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within 15–20 working days of receiving a complete written request
• Refunds will be issued via the original mode of payment wherever possible
• The Institute is not responsible for delays caused by banking or payment gateway timelines

Policy updates

Bonfire Institute of Design reserves the right to update, modify, or revise this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately and reflected on our website. By enrolling in our programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
